Stretch therapy is a personalized, one-on-one approach to improving mobility, reducing tension, and supporting how your body moves and feels.
At 406 Stretch, sessions are fully guided by a professional stretch therapist and built around your individual movement patterns, restrictions, recovery needs, and goals. We utilize techniques such as PNF stretching, mobility-based methods, and nervous-system-aware recovery approaches to create targeted, effective sessions that go beyond passive stretching.

No. 406 Stretch provides wellness-based stretch therapy and recovery services and does not provide medical diagnosis, physical therapy, or rehabilitation services.
Our sessions are designed to support mobility, movement quality, recovery, and tension reduction through individualized assisted stretching and movement-based techniques.
If you are experiencing an injury or medical condition, we encourage you to consult with an appropriate licensed healthcare provider.
-
Our sessions are rooted in PNF stretching (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation), which combines assisted stretching with active muscular engagement to help improve mobility and movement control.
Depending on the provider and your individual needs, sessions may also incorporate mobility-focused techniques, targeted myofascial work, cupping, percussion therapy, recovery tools, and nervous-system-aware approaches.
Every session is tailored specifically to you.

We recommend comfortable athletic or movement-friendly clothing that allows you to move easily on the table.
Leggings, joggers, athletic shorts, t-shirts, and workout attire all work well. You will remain fully clothed throughout your session. Sticky socks may be helpful throughout your session, though they are not required.
-
Stretch therapy should feel productive, intentional, and communicative - not aggressive or forceful.
Some techniques may create mild discomfort similar to a deep stretch or muscle engagement, but sessions should never feel unsafe or overwhelming. We encourage open communication throughout the session so we can tailor the intensity to your comfort level and goals.
-
Consistency is one of the biggest factors in creating lasting change. Like strength training, physical therapy, or any movement-based practice, results are typically best when sessions are performed consistently over time.
That said, every body is different. Your stretch therapist can help recommend a session frequency based on your goals, lifestyle, training demands, tension patterns, and how your body responds to treatment.
We also believe your progress shouldn’t depend entirely on seeing us. Whenever appropriate, we may recommend at-home mobility exercises, stretches, or recovery strategies to help support your goals between sessions and improve long-term outcomes.
Our mission is always to help you feel and move better, but we also recognize that you are ultimately in control of your own wellness. We view our role as facilitators and guides within that process, not permanent dependencies.
In many cases, our goal is actually to help you need us less over time, not more.
